Transfers between two accounts on the same exchange are usually free and instant. Otherwise, pick a cheaper network, as long as the recipient supports it.
Where do the rates come from?
Exchange rates between major currencies come from the European Central Bank, published every business day around 4 p.m. Central European Time. Currencies the ECB doesn't cover (Nigerian naira, Ukrainian hryvnia, Russian ruble, Vietnamese dong, Moroccan dirham, Algerian and Tunisian dinars) use official rates updated once a day (Rates By Exchange Rate API). They can differ from parallel-market rates. The West African CFA franc (XOF) is derived from its fixed peg: 1 euro = 655.957 XOF. Crypto prices are market averages, refreshed continuously.
These are mid-market reference rates. Banks, exchange offices and crypto exchanges add their own margin, so the amount you actually receive will be slightly lower.
